DBT-Informed Skills Group – Ormond Beach
Solid Ground Counseling is forming a weekly, in-person DBT-informed skills group at our Ormond Beach location. This group will focus on practical skills drawn from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help participants better manage emotions, navigate stressful situations, improve relationships, and respond more effectively to difficult thoughts and feelings.
Topics will include emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness, with an emphasis on learning skills that can be practiced and applied in everyday life.
The group will begin once sufficient interest is established and will meet weekly at our Ormond Beach office.
This is a DBT-informed skills group and is not a comprehensive DBT treatment program.

A 12-Week Group for Changing Your Relationship with Technology
The Digital Reset is a 6-session group for adults who want to develop a healthier, more intentional relationship with technology. Whether it's endless scrolling, gaming, social media, online content, or simply feeling unable to disconnect, this group will help participants better understand the patterns keeping them stuck.
Rather than focusing on eliminating technology, The Digital Reset focuses on building awareness, regaining control, and creating sustainable changes that fit into real life.
Participants will explore triggers and habits, managing urges, setting healthy digital boundaries, improving attention and focus, developing offline coping strategies, and reconnecting with relationships and activities outside of screens.
The group will meet every other week for six sessions over 12 weeks at our DeLand office and will begin once sufficient interest is established.

The Resilient Motherhood Project is a 6-week structured program for expectant mothers designed to prepare for the emotional, relational, and practical realities of the transition into motherhood.
While pregnancy often comes with plenty of preparation for birth and baby, there is far less preparation for what happens to you, your relationships, and your identity after the baby arrives. This program creates space to prepare for that transition before you're in the middle of it.
Over six weeks, participants will explore realistic expectations for postpartum recovery, strengthening your relationship with your partner, navigating changes in identity, developing parenting values, building a support system, recognizing maternal mental health concerns, and creating practical strategies for resilience throughout motherhood.
The goal isn't to prepare for a perfect postpartum experience—it's to enter motherhood with stronger relationships, realistic expectations, practical tools, and a plan for getting support when you need it.
The Resilient Motherhood Project is held at our DeLand location and is specifically designed for mothers who are currently pregnant.
