Solid Ground Ormond is the newest location of Solid Ground Counseling, specializing in the treatment of trauma and trauma-related disorders. Our clinicians utilize evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and somatic interventions to support lasting healing. From the moment you walk through our doors, our goal is to help regulate the nervous system, foster a sense of safety, and empower you to feel at home in your body again.

Let’s try a therapy that works! Journey with me as we take a three-prong approach in treatment that will identify somatic, emotional, and cognitive awareness for healing. I offer 55 min sessions (extended sessions can be discussed) and concentrate on identifying the root causes of your “trauma, anxiety and depression.”
I am skilled in working with:
o Adolescents and adults (ages 10-99)
o Dissociative systems (DID/OSDD) and dissociative disorders
o Active-duty military & veterans
o First responders
o College students
· I am cultural, spiritual/religious, and LGBTQIA+ trained and sensitive in our sessions.
I offer specialized therapy to reduce symptoms of anxiety, anger, addictions, depression, sadness, grief, irritability, hypervigilance, flashbacks, nightmares, maladaptive behavioral patterns, dissociative disorders (including DID/OSDD), PTSD, and C-PTSD.
In our sessions, I work with the whole-body experience using non-touch, somatic- focused therapy. I am professionally trained in:
· EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
· Emotionally Focused Therapy (Individuals and Couples)
· Bowen Family Systems
· Sand-tray Therapy
I am also trained in these other therapy models and may incorporate them into our session as well: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention,
Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
During our sessions, we will work together to understand how your mind and body function at its best so you can continue to heal outside of the session. If you are motivated for a higher quality of life, you do not have to do this alone. We got this!

If you’re exhausted from holding everything together while feeling overwhelmed inside, therapy can be a place to finally let some of that weight go. I work with individuals and couples stuck in cycles of anxiety, relationship conflict, trauma, or life stress. Many feel frustrated that the same patterns keep repeating and want relief, clarity, and a greater sense of control so they can feel more like themselves, improve their relationships, and move forward without being held back by the past. I use an integrated approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, and Person-Centered therapy, alongside trauma-focused EMDR and ART. I am direct but supportive, helping you process past experiences, break unhelpful patterns, and build practical skills. Showing up is enough to start creating real, meaningful change.
